Welcome! This site is dedicated to my dogs and the breed I love so much.

News and highlights

Jetsun

Jetsun was the only puppy in Iris’ first litter. I had tried to tell myself I really didn't need another male, but Jetsun turned out to be such a great puppy I just had to keep him. Not only does he have wonderful structure and movement, but his attitude towards life is nothing less than pure joy. He is a busy boy and that provides for lots of laughs and of course plenty of photo opportunities.

He proved himself a consistent winner in the conformation ring and also ventured into Rally Obedience. At his first ever Rally trial, not only did he qualify, but he also won High in Class. He followed that up the following weekend with two more qualifying scores to earn his RN, and with that became the first Tibetan Terrier to earn the CKC Grand Champion title. He later carried on to complete his Rally Advanced and Rally Excellent titles.

On Friday, May 29, 2009 Jetsun earned the ultimate accolade; he won Best of Breed at the Tibetan Terrier Club of America National Specialty. It was truly a breeder’s dream come true. At the same Specialty he also earned the last leg of his AKC Rally Novice title, with the highest qualifying score in the trial.

In fall of 2017, at almost 13.5 years old, Jetsun proved he is never to old to learn something new. He completed his Novice Trick Dog, Intermediate Trick Dog and Advanced Trick Dog titles! What a good boy!

Dyna

Dyna arrived from The Netherlands on January 17, 2003 and fit into the family right away. I am very grateful to Thea Koster for letting me have this wonderful puppy out of our girl Sade. Dyna is a very sweet girl who makes us laugh every day with her antics and the funny noises she makes.

Dyna had some nice wins at the shows, and produced two lovely litters. Now she enjoys her retirement, but she does not act like a senior... she is still our Dyna Dingaling!

LhaBu

LhaBu caught my eye right from the time he was born; I just thought there was something special about him. I am glad I took the opportunity to let him grow up here at Kyeri.

He earned some nice wins during his puppy career, including: TTCC National Specialty 2006 - Winners Dog, Best Puppy in Specialty, two Best Puppy in Group and  Best of Breed over Specials. After taking some time out to grow up, he came back out to compete in the show ring in 2010. Not only did he make his presence known in the group, he finished off the year as #1 Tibetan Terrier in Canada.

Although he appears to be white with black, he is actually a tri as he has tan points on his face and legs.

Samye

As a very young puppy Samye frequently reminded me of her sire at the same age; full of attitude and quite fearless. Now that she's grown up she is so much like her dam in both looks and mannerisms it is amazing.

Samye has always been a bit of a wild child... very silly and very very naughty. She is now living with my friend Helen where she is the centre of attention and enjoying her senior years.

Tibetan Terriers are not for everyone, but for those who value the special qualities a TT has to offer, there is no other breed that can take their place.
